Womens Work, Varanasi.

One thing that becomes very obvious when travelling through India is how hard women work. This women and two others like her spent the entire day carrying these bricks from this pile to a construction site five minutes walk away. They would probably have been paid the equivalent of $1.00 US dollar for their work. I was walking on the other side of the road from them and only had a fraction of a second to take this photograph.
