Root in Swirling Sand. Stonetool Sandblow, Fraser Island. This photograph was taken during an enormous storm which broke my tent poles during the night. The wind was howling and the rain was outrageous. Despite lack of sleep and wet everything, the experience was not without it's rewards. Apart from capturing an impressive double rainbow I found this unusual pattern made by a combination of water, wind and a mineral known as Rutile. |
